Freezes after i try and enter "unknown" on the map

ive played and got onto the main map but as i travel east i find a place called "unknown".
when i try and enter it my screen goes black and crashes. When I alt + tab theres an error message and consequently closes fallout.

OS: Windows 7 64bit
MODS: Fallout FIXT (to stop the colour issues and to balance gameplay)
