Fallout 1 & 2 on Windows 8.1

I am thinking of picking them both up, but before that I need to know if they play functionally on Windows 8.

(Basically: Will it run at all?)

I really like Fallout 3 & New Vegas (Played them both through a couple of times on PS3 :3), and I haven't played Fallout 2 for years.

Yes, they work fine in 8.1.

yes go ahead they work fine.. the only one that is eh is tactics wihich only works in windows mode on windows 8.1
