I have to preface this a bit; I love this game as much as anyone, but it's tedious if you want it to be. When I first played this, I basically marathoned it over two long sittings. I did everything I could, completely 100%'d the game.
Now, returning to it after having bought it again on sale (Originally played on Xbox), I have to admit the game isn't suited to doing in such a complete fashion again. Everything holds up, for the most part. I absolutely adore running around the campgrounds, seeking out various items. It's pretty basic, but the atmosphere invoked being so similar to that of a Saturday morning cartoon just pulls at my heartstrings something fierce. When you get into the meat of the game, however, it falls apart a bit. The platforming is mostly simple, and that's no issue. It does what it should and it does it well enough. The game is truly unique in its presentation, that's what makes it worth playing. The real issue is with the figment collecting. It's tedious as can be.
It's like playing Banjo Kazooie or another collectathon, but everything you want to get, runs away from you.
It's very frustrating to run through a level more than once to find a chicken that just happens to hide in walls until the very second you turn around.
All in all though, wonderful game. A must play for anyone that loves games in my opinion, just don't get too caught up in seeing every little detail of this game. The little things just hinder an otherwise amazing game, filled with detail and character not frequently seen.
