What would you want in a sequel?
First off, I am not a represenative of DoubleFine. A sequel has not been announced. But say one was. What would you want in it? Gameplay? Locations? Minds? Characters? Discuss it here!

I considered something like this. Maybe make them playable characters in flashback sequences. It would be cool to see the Psychonaut organization in their prime.

A sequel would be amazing. It couldn't continue with just Raz, though, and not in the camp. It would have to be a different environment, like a full-out psychic war. The other characters (Lily, Sasha, and Milla) would have to assist Raz directly, but not be playable characters.
I Love the different art styles and shows the peoples personality.
i only want a bigger and modern graphic Psychonauts...a more of the same will be amazing for me!! this game is 1 of the best game ever made.

I like Black Velvetopia just because of the different art style. I think that's the only level where Raz changes outfits (it's just a pallet swap, but still pretty cool.)
I'd want them to return to the summer camp, at least for a little bit. I agree with indio68 as well.

This a thousand times. I'd also like to see deeper plot for some of the major characters like Sasha and Milla. If Dr. Loboto isn't dead I'd also like to see more about him and possibly delve into his mind.

Agreed. The thing that made this game so special to me is how different the mental worlds were from each other. I think a sequel could be made where almost every character from the original was scrapped and the game would still be amazing, and that's exactly what I would like to see. I put some thought into it, and my idea for a great sequel to this game would be a future (20-30 years) where the summer camp has shut down, the asylum rebuilt and an aged Raz or Sasha is running Ford's old secret lair with the brain tumbler relocated to the recovery room. The story line could follow a young (teens?) recruit working as an international psychopath hunter, exploring the planet and the minds of the most deeply disturbed in the region. This could setup some very interesting outdoor scenes as well as mental worlds based on the Orient, Jungles, Medieval Europe and anything else the artists at Double Fine could dream up. Upon capture the psychic criminals would be taken back to the asylum for incarceration and their brains could be accessible through the tumbler.
I don't care what's in it, i just want a sequel NOW!
Anyway, more playable characters would be nice.

I definately want more summer camp. The camp was so carming it was a character unto itself. I loved how the eviornment changed over time and you had to hunt down all the different characters to see their progessions.
I want most of the characters to be at least young adults.

Some scenes in the summer camp, most scenes somewhere else.

Same art style, just more modern (Borderlands style almost).
Okay, okay, so how about this:

Every character who has a mental world you can enter, also has several moods they can be in. And their mood affects what their mental world is like. So in the real world, you might need to make a character angry, sad, scared, etc to unlock a new path in their minds.
