Mac Update
Would like to hear news abuot the mac port, if and when it will be updated.

Are you having the same trouble as me? The game runs out of memory, audio glitches out, then eventually the whole game crashes.
Quitting and restarting the game doesn't fix it, only a reboot does. This means there's a serious memory leak.

yeah, I have the same problem. I can only play for around 30 min before it get all glitchy. It is starting to get really annoying, Tim Schafer help us.

Yeah, I agree. It's better than it was before but still has lots of bugs and makes it not fun to play.

Mine gets glitchy after about 15 minutes, and never shows fire and other effects. Apparently they're working on it and it will be released "soon"

i contacted the dfteam today and they said their contractor for the updates has been out of contact for the past 3 months, now they're gonna hold a meeting and get me some info(LOL) but personally i woundt expect the update to be out until next year. sorry for the bad news.

I really hope an update comes soon. My main computer is dead, leaving all of my gaming to my MacBook Pro until I can build a replacement, and it is hard playing the game when the audio cuts out after 5-10 minutes.

i just got a post from the double fine team yesterday and they practically gave me the middle finger. Apparently because they're a small and worthless team they can only work on things in increments, their focus being on present projects instead of support. They told me that full support of Psychonauts on mac and linux would be a main priority in mid January of NEXT YEAR!!! I'd be better off learning how to port the game over myself and run it on the same emulation it first ran on when the game worked fine. This game was doomed the moment doublefine thought people who couldn't play with their xbox controllers needed an update, so in my opinion its not the contractors fault but theirs.
