Unplayable game... I want my money back now!
I bought this game and I've not even been able to load up the menu yet! Feels like an absolute waste of my money

I've tried way too many times to try and fix my problem but nothing is working... It's sad since I wanted to play this game so much but what can I do? Waste money on a game that doesn't work?

Can you describe the issue? Do you see a black screen and the nothing else? Does the game crash?

It would also be helpful to know your system specs (CPU, RAM, graphics card, OS, etc.)

What happens is :

1.Press 'Play game'.
2.Black screen and whole computer crashes and forces me to restart.

My specs are :

Intel Core i5 3570K "Ivy Bridge" Processor overclocked to up to 4.8GHz
Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard
16GB PC3-12800 DDR3 Memory
Chillblast Radeon 7950 3GB Graphics Card
120GB Samsung 840 Series SSD
2000GB SATA III 7200rpm Hard Disk
Samsung Blu Ray / DVD-RW Combo Drive
Xigmatek 600watt PSU
Onboard High Definition Audio
Windows 8

I swapped my power supply with a Corsaire one but not sure which one tho.

Have you installed the replacement OpenAL, SoftAL driver, and the Legacy DirectX redistributable.

Also try running it in Windows XP Compatability Mode, or Windows 98 Compatability Mode. (Since there are no low-level drivers in the game, either of these modes should work, if you don't have a system-wide incompatability.)

I've read on another forum that overclocking the cpu was causing a game to crash.
