Mac Resolution Problem
Does anyone know how to change the resolution of the game without launching? My computer looks best in 720p (Mac Mini plugged into a 1080i TV), but there's a resolution mismatch if my computer's resolution is set to 720p or 1080i. Please help.

There is a file next to the game files called displaysettings.ini you can manually edit that in a text editor and that will change the resolution of the game when it starts.

steam\steamapps\common\psychonauts

I can't find the file "steamapps."

~\Library\Application Support\Steam\steamapps\common\psychonauts

but you can also right click on Psychonauts in steam and go to local files. In the Psychonauts folder you will find the DisplaySettings.ini file.

In the "Psychonauts" folder, I have the Psychonauts application and "macfiles.txt." It's just a list of files though.

There is no "DisplaySettings.ini" in my computer for some reason. Also, use forward slashes when talking about directories.

I am having a similar problem right now, and I went to the location you guys mentioned but I dont have a "displaysettings.ini" file either. I accidentally made the resolution far too large and am unable to press the 'ok' to change it.
