Linux Version - Crashes after cutscenes (case sensitive path problem?)
Hi there,
i've got a problem with cutscenes (Debian Sid, Linux 3.12, Nvidia 319.82 on Gtx660, i5 3550): the game crashes after the first level up (pyrokinesis). The file
" WorkResource/cutscenes/prerendered/FirestartingMeritBadge.bik"
should be played, but a strace show that this file is not found.
When i renamed it to "firestartingmeritbadge.bik", the cutscene works fine...

what am i supposed to do? Rename all the .bik files? Or am i missing something (patch?)?

same problem.
went into the steam folder
cd "$HOME/Steam/SteamApps/common/Psychonauts/WorkResource/cutscenes/prerendered/";
for f in $(find . -name "*[A-Z]*"); do lower=${f,,}; if [[ ! -e $lower ]]; then echo "$f -> $lower"; ln "$f" "$lower"; else echo "$lower already exists"; fi; done

Thank you for the answer.
I used a similar command in the prerendered folder when i've had the problem :
convmv -r --lower --notest *
and all the cutscenes work fine since then.

I am now stucked in the sacha nein's room (advanced training). Impossible to get out of this place...

you should use the machine behind sacha, to explore your own mind.

I prefer my command, because it actually creates a link to the file instead of moving it. So any update will work too, you just end up with two files which are the same (and do not use more disk space)
