Can someone explain this crash message constantly popping up?

Psychonauts is crashing. And with how DoubleFine set up their app's info on Windows, it identifies itself as "The most amazing game, Psychonauts".

Right click on the file, select Properties, select Compatibility, and check the box for running in compatibility mode. Then, select the drop down menu, and choose Windows 98/Windows ME. Click apply, then OK. Next time you run it, it will be in compatibility mode.

If you don't have a "Program Files (x86)", change that to "Program Files". If you changed the install location of Steam, replace "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam" with your install location.

You didn't read the editted version, it wasn't working for me but then randomly went "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to do that!" and *pop* it magicly appeared!

I know! I got it in the last christmas sale and it is AMAZING! I hope they make a second one at some point.

first played this game in 2006. I personally love the first 30% of the game jumping around the camp finding Agent Cruller at random places and screwing with Bobby Zilch while listening to the games awesome soundtrack.
