Psychonauts is crashing. And with how DoubleFine set up their app's info on Windows, it identifies itself as "The most amazing game, Psychonauts".

How do I do that?
Navigate to C:/Programs Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Psychonauts and then look for Psychonauts.exe (it has the icon of Rasputin). Right click on the file, select Properties, select Compatibility, and check the box for running in compatibility mode. Then, select the drop down menu, and choose Windows 98/Windows ME. Click apply, then OK. Next time you run it, it will be in compatibility mode.

If you don't have a "Program Files (x86)", change that to "Program Files". If you changed the install location of Steam, replace "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam" with your install location.

Under 'Computer' in the Libraries menu click on Local Disk (C:) and literally follow Mr Power's exact install path that he wrote in the first line of his post...

(C:) Program files (x86)>Steam>SteamApps>Common>Psychonauts> and right click and select properties on the Psychonauts.exe (or Psychonauts without the .exe if you have file extensions off)

You didn't read the editted version, it wasn't working for me but then randomly went "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to do that!" and *pop* it magicly appeared!

I know! I got it in the last christmas sale and it is AMAZING! I hope they make a second one at some point.

first played this game in 2006. I personally love the first 30% of the game jumping around the camp finding Agent Cruller at random places and screwing with Bobby Zilch while listening to the games awesome soundtrack.
