Weird short freezes
Game is just randomly freezes for second or two every now and then. At first i thought it was my laptop's fault since it had a crappy graphic card. But now when i have excellent PC and decided to replay game, guess what - freezes are all here. I tried Win95 compatibility and it did precisely nothing.

I've been having a similar problem except my game will completely stop responding really randomly it seems. I've been having to force close with the task manager and I've notived if I have the steam browser open at the time of closing it will be processing something for the game in my library. Possible auto save problems perhaps? I've been trying to look into it and that's the only thing I can think of.

Hey folks.

Thanks for the reports. Can you post the information from Steam > Help > System Information into this thread? I'm curious to see your specs and drivers.

I have these freezing problems too. short freezes only appeared while playing on widescreen. Change the resolution back and it's working now but i still have the random freezes when the game has to load a new area.

Thanks for the info.

Indeed, the next step I suggest is to adjust graphics options to see if that yields a result.

Adjust to what? 4:3 resolution?

Don't be a buttmunch when you at least got noticed an was lucky enough to get responded to.

Its likely due to the OpenAL it uses, its the most common factor.

Re: graphic adjustments, disable the graphics options that are available. V. Sync is known to cause stuttering issues, for instance, so that may be a culprit.

Turning off v-sync did help as it seems. Thank you. I'll report if it appears again
