Mediocre port?
Is there a mod that can fix the terrible job done porting this game? It doesn't have any frame cap, it has awkward camera controls at times, I'm not quite sure when to click and when to hit space on the menus, and I can't customize the graphics woth sht.

Use a usb xbox controller. This game was really meant to be played using a controller. As for the graphical issues cant help you there.

Is there a text document I can go into or something in order to manuallly change texture resolution, LOD, etc?

its not a "terrible" port, its a platforming game made to be played with a controller and it came out like 9 years ago, its a great game

I didn't say that it wasn't. I'm just wondering why the graphics options are so limited. I can change V-Sync, Bloom, shadows, and Resolution. That's about it.

There weren't many other options at the time. Remember, this is the version from 9 years ago, just patched. It isn't like it is an HD remake. This is the original version.

Yeah, but older games still have more options. They have model detail, texture resolution, etc.

Then again, maybe they don't need it at this point. My PC is not only low-end, but was very cluttered up at the time. If you can tell me how to put a frame-lock at 60 fps without V-Sync, I could probably run this like TF2 on an HP Envy.

Here is a link to a couple of options: http://pcgamesbeat.blogspot.com/2012/09/how-to-cap-frame-rates-with-fps-limiter.html

I still get framerate drops. Not all of our computers are using i3's here. I've got a Pentium, so I'm just asking if there's a good way to get the framerate from 15-500 fps to 40-70 fps. It still isn't good for a computer to work itself like that. You could kill your computer with a blank map in Unity if you don't have a framecap.

I didn't have any problems with the PC port, the game ran smoothly and as for the graphics it's a 9 year old PS2 game lol.
It plays really well with an X360 controller.

I'm sure it does. You know, though, I'm just wondering... I was thinking about getting a gamepad, so does anyone know if the Amazon Fire TV game controller works on a PC?

As I said before, by the way, I'm using a Pentium (not sure which one) processor with 3.05 GhZ.
