How do you get the none storyline achivemets? is it to late if I beat the game?

also I can't go back into the real world and get all the shopkeepers items.

After you rescue your teachers, it is too late to go back into the real world. There should have been a warning saying you couldn't go back.

Some of them you have to do at certain points in the game or you miss them. There's one before you go in the brain tumbler the 2nd time (I missed that one lol), there's one where you listen to Vernon tell the ghost story in the TV room not long after Dougan heads there, and there's a few more that you have to be in certain locations at certain points in the story. There's a guide up here somewhere that explains it well, I'll see if I can find it.
