Section 8 not support Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
It's all because Games For Windows Live
Be Seeing You

You can use an Xlive Emulator " xlive.dll "
You can find them on most modding sites, I'm not sure if all will work with Section 8, but most are the same[works on all GFWL games]
GFWL was a very weak DRM (a key worked for 5 activations, a fallout 3 key for example worked on Halo 2, Fable 3... [any game key worked to activate basically any game]).
I liked it because free games + I liked xbox live and got Xbox achievements.
