my HL 2 ep 1 is not opening
Hello, I am a big fan of the half life series and took the Valve complete pack was on sale, and bought more what I most wanted to play that is the HL2 ep 1 is asking me to download SteamVR, and when I open that SteamVR says there is no head display (HMD) compatible.
Someone please help me.

HL 2 is not working for me either, my problem is similar to Spy's.

It's not opening for me either. HL2 and ep. 3 seem to work ok though. ep 1 and ep 2 show up as (beta) on my display. Did they make a change and screwed it up? lol

Hey all, I may have found the problem. As I said mine showed [beta] after the game in the library. I selected properties then clicked the "beta" tab and in the first drop down I changed it to "None" I didn't have any beta stuff selected in some other place on here, but evidently it put it on here. Once that was changed it redownloaded some files and it opened up. Hope this helps.
