HTC Vive Support?
I was wondering if this game will support the HTC Vive, and if so will the motion controllers be supported as well?

I'm not currently planning to do that, sorry.

It comes down to time - I'm basically a one-man band and have to pick and choose my battles carefully. Supporting the Oculus took longer than I expected and I don't want to go down that rabbit hole again.

BTW, just yesterday I was at Valve getting the demo, and it was awesome! But every demo example involved standing in a room - it doesn't seem to be really suited to flying through the air at ridiculuous speeds...

As someone who has played Windlands on the VIVE

IT IS INCREDIBLE

I understand there being issues, but I really hope this is visited down the road

(on a side note, I bought this thinking that "VR support" meant it had VIVE support. Still keeping it, and should enjoy it on a standard screen since I loved SM2. But was a bit of a let down since Windlands is really fun in VR with motion controls, but only has a basic form on control and the physics are only *just* good enough)

I just wanted to throw my two cents in. I'm a backer and a Vive owner, and I'd love to see the game with Vive Support. Since the game is running on the Rift already, the process to enable Vive Support shouldn't be terribly difficult.

There are third party wrappers (unvive) that should make it work, but native support would really be lovely.
Id be more then happy to assist you with integrating Vive Support. Im a stay at home dad, I am an OSVR developer, and Am Gearing up to start a Youtube Channel that Reviews/Overviews Content for VR platforms. Id be more then willing to assist you with vive integration in exchange for a Press copy of the Game. Free help and Free Publicity :) and it helps me have more content for my Channel launch!
