Future UI features / changes?
Are there any specific changes or new features planned for the UI in future updates/versions?

One minor complaint: I'm playing on OS X, and the existence of the File -> Reset Game menu item is confusing in this particular game. The menu item, despite using the word "reset", appears to actually execute the "restart" verb, rather than HL's rather unusual/specific "reset" verb. The menu item does do a warning-and-confirmation step, which is good, but it seems like it should be called "ReSTART Game" to be consistent.

The only more substantive wish/request that has occurred to me: The Alchemy Journal is VERY useful to have in parallel to the IF-standard interface, but by mid-game(ish) there are enough items listed in each category that I really want a way to move them into *alphabetical* ordering. (The default reverse-chronological ordering is useful too, but I'd love to be able to toggle between that and alphabetical.)

Yes, you're definitely right about the reset menu item.

Sorting in the journal window would be reasonable. I should also support the text-search feature, since I wrote all the code for it already.

People have also suggested smooth scrolling, and maybe highlighting the current turn output more. (That is, dimming the previous history slightly.)

I have to switch away from HL updates for the moment, however. I have other projects to pound on. So it may be a while before I get to these plans.
I'd really love a "tiled" display option that showed the main game interface, the journal, and (optionally) the map, side-by-side or in a 1 + 2 configuration. That way I can easily flip to fullscreen for zero distraction but also still get at all of the convenient secondary windows.
