We have heard your concerns about being victims of deviant behavior while playing online multiplayer, we have released a patch solving some of the issues you can encounter. Other updates will follow to continue this work, we will keep you posted in due times!

Today’s update have solved the following issues you may encounter in the Online Mode:

• Being sent immediately to your world
  
• Being sent to the Firelink Shrine
  
• Being changed in full Dragon Body Status

We’d also like to remind you that our Server Team is checking all the accounts before penalizing players. If you received an “Invalid Data” message, please refer to the following article: https://support.bandainamcoent.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/507/458/dark-souls-iii---restrictions-and-warning-messages-what-do-they-mean. Players that fall victim of online issues will not be penalized if they are innocent.

EDIT 18/05: the patch has been redeployed. The issue should have been fixed, please let us know if you still encounter issues!

I spent all day yesterday fixing various issues I was having with fps drops and a controller bug. Today, you release a patch that adds frame drops every 20 seconds. gg.

[Edit]: If this helps anyone, or just in case you didn't know, this seems to be the issue for the mini freezes.

i guess that the new patches are breaking the game more than fixing , i have the mini freezes too gg fromsoft the next time dont develope two games at the same time so we dont have to suffer all the ♥♥♥♥ coming.

Yes fix is necessary for fading

Thank you for releasing a piece of garbage patch without doing some proper testing

You want to enjoy pvp without 1 sec freezes?
Easy fix:

1: Desinstall Dark Souls 3
2: Install Dark Souls 1

It'd be nice if there was a way for the devs to see wether a modded/hacked item was MADE rather than PICKED UP by a player, to try and figure out if another party is trying to frame innocent players.
And, of course, only remove the item rather than straight-up banning them. BUT if it would keep happening, it should be assumed that they player in question is picking those modded items up fully knowing what they are, most likely asking a friend of theirs to mod the item/weapon for them.
A bunch of my friends have been banned not knowing why, some of them not even having picked up any items dropped by other players just in case, and they still get banned.
I'm just waiting for my turn.
