Getting back to the Map in the boss fight

Hey, as the title says, I need a way to get back to the map in a boss fight at the end where I dont have my magic fairy. Unfortunately, I dont think I can beat the boss without him, but restarting the game restarts me back in the boss room.

Any ideas?
