UFO2 Extraterrestrials:Battle for Mercury

Announced June 23rd 2013, UFO2 Extraterrestrials:Battle for Mercury is planned to be released Q4 2013. While Chaos Theory went off the grid a while back with little to no news about UFO2 Extraterrestrial, they have come back with Battle for Mercury (was originally planned to be: Shadow over Earth). Featuring the content that was planned for Shadow over earth, Battle for Mercury now takes the fight to the aliens to reclaim our home-world: Earth.

who cares, they still have games that have many bugs they never bothered to fix..wont waste any money on this company again because of the lack of patching BUGS

Ive played through the first one 4-5 times without a crash. This one has been being delayed for over two years. I no longer even listen to their expected launch date although I am waiting for it.

I want this game, but I kinda lost the belief it'll ever come out. Honestly thought with the hype for new xcom that this one would push out around the same time to show an updated old school version of it for those missing the features of the first xcom. Sadly no such luck yet.

A previous incarnation, Shadow over Earth, was canceled. On the other hand, the Battle for Mercury webpage hasn't been updated since last June, and if you check out the forum, there are a bunch of earnest posts asking about the game, but the devs haven't responded.

They actaully made an announcement today

'Hello, I would like to introduced myself, I am Jessie Black and I was hired to be a bridge between you and the development teem. The Home page will be updated soon. Unfotrtunately the game will not be released this year. The Chaos Concept development team is working hard on the game. The release date will be during the year 2014. At this moment I am not able to disclose any specific date, but as soon as I have some new informations i will inform you."

Well, that's good to hear. It always seems the games I want are dribbled out some time in future and never when I have vacation. Right now there are four games I'm looking forward to in 2014.

That's from a randon registered user spamming the forum. But it does seem the game is coming now.
