If I come back tomorrow just to see the "new game" tab I'l probably punch my monitor.

Just make a back up of your save game, do it manually, or do a google search for a free program, "game save manager", and use that to make a back up.

That said, they do need to fix the saved games issue, that is a nasty bug!

No, let's try this.
1) Go to X:/Users/yourUserName/Saved Games, backup the Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 folder.
2) Try save your game and quit to main menu
3) Backup again for another copy
4) Continue your game to check everything, including weapon unlocks, skill points spent and go outside, just check everything
5) if nothing wrong try exit the game
Then you have a good save backup to continue if you lose anything again... I just did it with Windows file history and it is 2 days ago so I just lost all my favourite unlocks, VSS, shotguns, usp45

I found the Saved Games folder but it's empty ! I even downloaded that free program (game save manager) to try something but it doesn't even detects the game ! I'm really afraid of loosing everything...

So maybe this is terrible issue... I know it is too late to tell you Windows have File History which may save you from this if you turned it on yesterday and backup everything...

If you lost all progress, I just hope there is a way to roll back everthing from Steam Cloud files but I found no such option for now

Im backing up my files everytime after I play, although I confess I onluy played like 2 hours, so if I lose my progression its not a big deal

Well, do you manually changed your folder locations to a different drive? Like Ive all docs, videos and ♥♥♥♥ on D:, but for some reason game saves everything on C:

So if I launch file explorer and go to to my folder and check saved games folder it has some saves but nothing from SG3, because i see files from D users sarsante... Ecerything is on C users sarsante...

My steam games are installed on D: Should I look for the save folder on that Drive ? I can't find any on C:

Yep,that folder is empty... Yet even with the crash I just had the game loaded just fine.

Haven't had any types of problems like this glad because I'm pretty far now. I have had a few issues with grabbing someone too close to a wall then being glitched into a room you can't get out of only way out is to restart

for me happened first time after 42h ingame. and wasnt because of a crash. Just did shut down the game and after restart all was gone
