Save Game Disappeared

Ever since the last 27th April update, my save game is gone. No trace of playing except my Steam statistics. Help.

Locate saved game files and back them up, if it gets deleted use the backup files
location should be username/saved games

Can't find saved games folder. It's not like usual game files at all. I lost all my progress and I'm pissed, help. Not a PC guy so lamens terms please.

We're very sorry to hear about your lost savegames. We're working very hard to fix this problem asap.
If you lost your saves, DO NOT start new game.
Go to C:\Users\ProfileName\Saved Games\Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, zip SaveGames folder and send it please at [e-mail]
It will help us a lot! After sending us the files, start game normally.

Sent files. I'm not doing the campaign again (even though it's very short :P). Make the multiplayer good...

dev team should fix a better save system so we can load the saves we progress so it saves in a file

This problem has been reported numerous times since the game was launched last week where people were advised to start backing up their save game folder.

In the meantime, you can send your broken save to the developer. Hopefully it will help them fix the issue quickly:

Just experienced the same issue, I was just about to play the mission "Slaughterhouse" again after the game crashed on my first attempt...

Having spent hours grinding through the game finding collectables, made harder with constant crashes and the poor frame rates, I'm off to bang my head against the wall for not backing any recent saves.
