anyone have a problem with escape rosecliff island on MAC pro?
anyone have a problem with escape rosecliff island on MACBOOK PRO? this game is instantly quit, i cant play it... plisss let me know how to fix it!

I have the same problem. It worked previously. I haven't played in many months and went to play today and the game instantly quits.

you play it on a mac too? Oh crap I spent my money for nothing :( I dont know how to fix it ...

I sent an email to PopCap support. Their response is below. I've tested the download and it worked fine so I'm sending them my info now to get a new license key.

Yeah, I'm getting the same. Should have read this thread first! Anyway, I've emailed PopCap support to see if they can help.

How did you contact them? I can't seem to find a way to email them. I get taken back to steam support.

Dont go to steam, go to the official page support i was talking but they let me download a version first but ii dindt even work... so i dont know u.u

it was a new version of rosecliff island but dont mix with my steam game :/

So anyone solved this? I can't play this game on a new iMAC, i see that the game is at "version 1" is it possible that they never updated it?!

Same problem here - iMac running OS 10.9.1. I bought the Humble Bundle so worked around it by redeeming the Origin code too. That version runs fine, but it's not an ideal solution.

I received a reply from PopCap. In summary, they cannot help and recommend taking up the issue with Steam. I have tried to leave a review to warn other Mac users, but I cannot do so because I must play more than 5 minutes of the game... which I cannot do since I can't load it in the first place. Nice catch 22 there.

I will be pursuing the matter with Steam, but from previous reports from other users it doesn't seem likely that we will be given a solution. I will report back when I have more info.

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with Escape Rosecliff Island on Steam.

We are unable to provide a direct download as no longer offers games for purchase.

While the forums on Steam do indicate some players have issues with this title on Mac, it doesn't seem to be a problem that affects the majority of players, as Steam would likely have stopped offering the game in that case.

We recommend reporting the issue to Steam, as they are the provider of the game in this instance.

Also, please note that your Humble Bundle purchase can also be activated through Origin. It may be worth trying the build offered through that service as well.
