[ERROR] DC: Error veryfying steam UserID Ticket
Hi

I have problem with HL DM Source. Every time, after ~half a minute I have disconnect and this message. Also I don't see any open internet games in "browser". I already checked files integrity, but this didn't help.

Any ideas?

In userdata are all my saves. I don't even have a subfolder with "360" als name (360 is a appid of HL DM Source). I sent ages ago a ticket to Steam Support, but still no answer. :/

Hard to tell. Last time I played on my old computer something like two years ago. In last year I bought new PC. In last month I also replaced my sound and graphic card.

This issue can be fixed by deleting ALL files except Steam.exe and Steamapps folder. The problem is, that for some games I have Steam Cloud turned off (Witcher 2 for example), so all my progress and configs are in "userdata" folder on my HDD. And I don't want to lose it.

you can just delete everything except the steam.exe and the steamapp folder. but just make backup. it should fixed when you fired it up and of coarse steam have to download all the stuff

Make sure you're connected to the Steam servers, otherwise VAC cannot validate your User ID ticket.

There is a good workaround in the Steam Forums for HLDMS written by 1157.
