I really wanted the shield to be more responsive to the ...'blarps'? when I hit them with it. It took me a while to realize the blarps were lassoed to my hand as well.
I can't even get to 20 though!
@Earl Grey:
YES! to sandbox mode. My thought is at the start screen there will be 3 starting buttons, one would be 'story' ish mode, where you have 4 lives and a bit deeper gameplay mechanic, one would be 'beast' mode which is what is already build. hit once and you die, get as high of a score as you can, and one that is 'Sound Mode' where you would have 10 or so blarps, and a bunch of objects that made different sounds, as you swung the blarps around!

I'm super in agreement about the shield. I really just added it to make you feel like more of a space gladiator, but I think that I'm going to have to figure out a way to make it feel more useful / dynamic. Making it bouncier will probably do some of that so I'll try building it in right away :)
@PersonGuy I have no idea how you did anything without using the trigger!!!! :)
One thing I noticed right off the bat: I spend the first few minutes smashing my hand (and controller) into the desks and walls around me, not fully grasping that as my virtual room got larger with each "level", my physical space around me did not :/
Eventually realized I should just use the visual cue of the colorful pad I was standing on in the game. Was a little easier to play too once I realized the Blarps could hit my body/head, and I only had to keep em away from my right hand.
Does your vive not show the blue roomspace boundaries you set up?
I believe it did when I was playing. I think I was just so into the game, and it's so fast-paced, that I wasn't ready for the chaperone walls when I reached the boundaries. I dunno if that makes sense.
