[BUG] Steam Overlay problems

Hello there! Several people have complained, I think, about a bug where opening and closing the overlay while in game could cause the character to be stuck while seeing only splitscreen, and thus being unable to chat to explain the situation as well, but I don't think we ever explained properly how to reproduce the glitch, and I think I just found out how to.

If you press keys or mouse buttons when you open the steam overlay, closing it (and thus going back to the game) will make the game act like you pressed all those keys ingame and at the same time. If you click on a link your friend just sent you, or click on the "send" button to respond to him, going back to the game will make you shoot one bullet (clicking several times will also only make you shoot one, since you do it for just an instant).

Therefore, if you press the "4" key and the "Enter" key at least once during your trip, your character will go into splitscreen AND start chatting at the same time; you won't be able to move/shoot because you'll be in chat, and you won't be able to type anything because splitscreen disables chat altogether.
