Try the Ubuntu forums. They'll probably tell you to mess about with your xorg.conf or fire up xrandr. Possibly you'll need to edit the game config.
ATI drivers are always terrible on Linux. Switch to Nvidia if you are serious.
wth xorg!?!?!?
Same problem here and with an Nvidia graphic device running officials drivers,
this problem is not related to the graphic driver, xorg or other things:
it's a bug of Trine 2 it simply doesn't detect/support dual head setups.
and edit these properties/settings:
setOption(renderingModule, "Windowed", true)
setOption(renderingModule, "MaximizeWindow", false)
setOption(renderingModule, "WindowTitleBar", false)
Close the file and start Trine 2, you will get a maximixed window without the titlebar,
works fine for me.
