Literally and im not exaggerating, THE BEST Star Wars RTS ever made !! Truly awesome,unique and detailed for a 2001 game !! Creativity at its finest ! The biggest vanilla collection of races you can play in star wars !! wookies,gungans,geonosians,confederacy,republic,galactic empire,royal naboo,rebel alliance !! This game withstood the test of time, ive played it since 2001 and here i am in 2021 still loving it more than Empire at War(since that game's only good for space combat and its super bad compared to this jewel !!!)

Every race has its own special units,upgrades,textures,sounds,animations,voice lines...and the best of all - all canon, unlike ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ !!

If you combine it with the Exapnding fronts mod,you even get to experience for some reason ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'s trash....for....whatever...reason ?!

Overall this game is a solid 69/10...the Force is not female and its definately stronk with this juan !!!

This game is if you took Age of Empires 2 (which they actually reference in the game manual, if you read those) but said, "Instead of history, lets make it about Star Wars!" and there you go, you get this game. Honestly wish they were able to find a way to include Revenge of the Sith

First do not mistake my recommending against this game as saying that this game is bad. Far from it, it's a great Star Wars RTS title, a classic. The game is a Star Wars skin of the classic Age of Empires games and I would recommend it anyone who enjoys RTS games and/or classic Star Wars. Be advised however that this game predates Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, so no Venator Star Destroyers, no General Grievous. It's also probably the only Star Wars RTS game that spans multiple eras instead of just the Galactic Civil War/Original Trilogy.

The reason for this recommendation against buying at the present time is that this game is horribly optimized for modern systems. There are supposedly workarounds and if you're fine with those, go for it. I absolutely would recommend this game if the technical issues weren't a thing. But in the game's current vanilla state, no I can't recommend it.

If the game becomes optimized or even remastered, I will change from not recommended to recommended.
