Dungeon Warfare

Very good game. For me (casual player)
Good base idéa but :
The pixel art is poor and the pixels are too big, bad on big screen.
The zoom is too low you can not see the whole map.
The difficulty is ridiculously bad set (after 3h no refund).
Upgrade tower do nothing.
Last waves are stupidly strong.
Unplayable after 5 lvl for me.

Edit : It's a very good game sorry for that old post.

Hi, Blob.
If you feel game is too difficult, use 'Breeze rune'(http://imgur.com/a/GSBJz) to make game easier. You can get bonus life and enemies will be weaker and slower.

Yes, use breeze. For me the difficulty is perfect. Please don't dumb down.

Upgraded tower does nothing....? Can you elaborate on that? Every 'tower' has an ability bonus after every five levels - sinking just one level into it will generally just lower its cost a bit or increase damage slightly. Corrupted Slime traps are just fantastic, and the upgraded cold traps that increase damage to chilled targets...

The only truly "unfair" map is Shallow Grave. It's beatable, but really difficult. The Mountain is also pretty tough, but like others have suggested: Just use the Breeze rune. It won't guarantee victory, but it'll help unlock more levels and more importantly it'll get you new traps sooner.

Hey Blob, hang in there. Iv made a few videos, and one frequnter of the boards dohlland is fairly active in posting screen shots of various levels. If you have questions on how to get better performance out of your traps, or how to deal with a level. Ask, people will be happy to help.

Last night I narrowly beat a level by selling some towers to steer traffic in a different direction and then building them back again to buy more time. Lots of hitting the 'P' pause button. When I finally beat that level it was a great rush of a feeling - the best I've had in many years of playing many different games.

But admittedly the game may not be for everyone.

Also upgrading towers can make a big difference and finding focal points in the terrain and setting up blockage (such as demon spawns or spinning traps) and using spring traps strategically may help. Keep experimenting. Or don't -- just wait for some idea to hit you when you aren't playing and then go back to try it.

The whole games boils down to there are a finite number of enemies, and therefore there is a finite amount of gold you can spend on any given level, so figuring out how to focus that limitted amount of firepower makes all the difference.

Also it helps to level up by replaying earlier levels with higher XP bonuses, as a higher leveled character has more starting funds and more gems to spend on trap leveling.

This guy must be trolling... anyway.... Ill take the bait.

I dont understand why you people take this guy seriously. If hes too dumb to play non casual games and/or dont have the tenacity to face hard problems then he should stick to games with the casual tag. Its his own fault for not reading up on the products he buys. Its a clear case of learn investigate the games you are buying or perhaps more accurately learn to play.

Its the same with whining about the pixel graphics, its pretty damn clear cut that they are going to be pixely when all clips, pictures and tags on the game clearly state that this is what it is. Its like buying minecraft and complaining about how blocky the game is. Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ levels of idiocy complaining about it really.

If you demand a refund for the reasons you stated then you dont deserve it. The refund is there for false advertising or massive bugs stopping you from playing. This game have neither.

TL:DR I emplore the devs to not take every consumer complaint seriously cos some of the consumers are idiots.
I'm more of a casual gamer for this type of game, usually I play puzzle and adventure games.

Despite not being great at TD games I found Dungeon Warfare to have just the right difficulty level. There were a couple of levels I found to be tough, but other than that it was perfect. A great game, I hope there is a sequel.

Should just check out some guides. I am a hardcore Tower Defense player and I found it quite easy.
