Dungeon Warfare
Can we pleeeease have placeable traps in the Editor for DW2
One of the promo pics in the Store page shows the map 'Crucible' and the traps on it. Not only can we not edit campaign maps (Which is a shame, since I'd love a copy to look at since good balanced and fun Wave composition is something I struggle with) but you CAN'T place traps in it either.

Also, if you open up usermade map files in a text editor, at the very end it even has fields for Sacrificial Pits, Traps, and Boss Waves. Why do our map files have these entries when we can't do anything with them? D:

With DW2 on the horizon, I don't see this happening for DW1 anymore, so I'd like to ask that it at least be a thing for DW2.

In DW2, we plan to let you do this by directly editting the map files with a text editor. In addition to preplaced traps, you will be able to place any new DW2 objects such as moving walls, destructible floors, treasure chests, etc.. We will make a simple documentation and examples for you to learn from. In fact, we also use text editor to craft the maps. Thanks.

That is awesome to hear! DW2's looking better and better, I can't wait for the release!

I loved the original a lot, just got 100% achievements after 155'ish hours of messing around in the game, and I look forward to another hundred or two hours spent in the sequel~

Same here - I already like tinkering with DW1 mapmaking, really looking forward to DW2 mapmaking!
