Also got them just now, checked here to see if there was a game update. o:

Sadly the game itself doesn't look like it got an update (Shame since I really want to put down traps in the editor like the Store Page shows in the promos!) but the trading cards I'd hoped for are here at least :D I wonder if there's any emoticons too :microraptor:

I'd like to thank the dev for deciding to limit the collection to 5 cards. Having 7+ cards in a set really discourages players from crafting badges.

OK. So I just got a booster pack drop for Dungeon Warfare. Did one of the devs do this or was that a really strange coincidence? I literally made that last post 13 minutes ago.

Foil cards are often like that, in my experience. Steam defaults to prices like that for them - though I wouldn't try actually putting it up for that much haha, though you can certainly try - who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky :dw_warrior:

You must really hate money to want to spend 20%+ more on each badge level.

You do realize that badges/cards total costs are related to how many there are right? 12 cards and the cards will go for 3-4 cents each, 5 cards, and they might go for 10-12 cents each. You end up paying the same either way, it's supply and demand 101.

There are other factors that make up the cost/value of a badge as well, like the popularity of the game, and what crafting them can yield, like an lol meme Pepe emote, or a background with anime t i t' s.

Smaller sized sets are much easier to craft because of the booster packs. They only come with 3 cards regardless of set size. Also buying cards is easier/cheaper usually because for large sets you pay a lot of transactions costs.
