Game Crashes DL'ing Maps

Ever since trying to download TE-Winterwald from the Workshop, both single player and multiplayer crashes on game startup. TE-Winterwald still shows it is being downloaded on the upper right portion of the menu screen. How can I stop this download and is this the cause for the crashes?

Unsubscribe from the map, and delete any custom maps you may have in:
Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Published\CookedPC\Maps

Then try redownloading the map.

No folder like the one you describe exists. Think I will just uninstall and do a reinstall.

Sorry, I accidentally gave you my specific folder on my hard drive. I edited my comment. Make sure you start out looking in "My Documents."

Reinstall didn't help. Winterwald is still downloading. I've also noticed my antivirus software going nuts catching trojans since I was messing with that stupid map. Coincidence, maybe, but the fact remains the game is unplayable.

I think TW needs to address the issue of Steam Workshop maps. I never had any serious problems with RO2 even from when I first purchased it a year ago, but I can't use any of the Steam Workshop maps. They took forever to load (never finishing, in fact) and crashed the game until I unsubscribed. Never had a problem with Steam Workshop with my other games--they download uber fast in comparison to the crawl I get with RO2, not to mention I never had a crash using mods in conjunction with my other games.

Unsuscribe you from this map on Workshop, delete the files and DL it when you join a server ingame... I have many maps like that (and some others through workshop).

No! You called my map stupid and accused me of sending you trojans! =( The workshop/game has some kinks. It really needs to show percentage and allow you to pause the download.

I have the same problem. When I subscribe to any map on workshop, game crashes when it starts.

Hi kiba I look for those locations and only found the first one the second I only found in the beta but has only has empty folders I deleted cache and the problem persist any sugestions?
