New maps are great, but ...
A fix for those of us that have paid money for a continueously breaking game would be appreciated.

I totally agree.. I've had performance issues and laggy animations such as climbing over walls diving, and running.

For Short :), Release maps after the game is fixed.
R5CYA 1 ott 2013, ore 19:22
so what is it you want then? it's not like TWI is making the maps that we're getting. the new Betio map was made by the Rising Storm team and the newer ,aps for RO2 were made by modders for the mapping contest. you didn't think TWI was spending all that precious time developing maps, instead of working on the game, did you?

A fix is what I want (I did state that to begin with). If TWI didn't make the map, then I have literally no idea what else they've been doing...

Seeing how they are a video game company they are more than likely working on another unreleased game. It's not like RO2/killing floor is going to fund tripwire forever and at this point there are diminishing returns to dedicate full time to it i would imagine.

if you read their forum, instead of this one, (full of misinformation) you'd know they didn't make the new maps and what they really are working on.

Ok, sure, but the point still stands..

not really.
they are trying to fix the stuff that's bugging us in the game and they aren't wasting time on maps. kinda kills both points. doesn't it?
like i said before, if you read the TWI forums, you'd know what they are doing. you'd also know why the bugs happen every time they give us new stuff.

You're telling me to it's reasonable to release a game that hasn't worked for large minority of the people that paid money for it?

Major fanboy alert

Maybe I have been just getting lucky but since the update performance seemes to have improved on my side though it did crash once.
The Executioner's Bong 2 ott 2013, ore 11:24
I get CTD probably once every two maps.

whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about.

I'm pretty sure for most people the game is running fine. They can't fix it 100% for everyone though, there are always some people who happen to have a combination of hardware that just happens to be badly optimized with a given game.

Having said that, if you happen to have 32-bit Windows with 4 or more gigs of RAM, I might be able to help your repeat crashing issue.

Well, like I said, if you have 32-bit windows and 4+ gigs of RAM, I think I know exactly what the problem is, otherwise I'm clueless. Do you have 32-bit windows and 4+ gigs of RAM?
