I enjoy it, much more realistic than your usual FPS games. If you are the kinda guy who can sit around watching war movies then this is for you. If on the other hand you enjoy quick rounds of small engagements via COD or CS. not for you.

Similar to Americas Army Proving Grounds... but better overall with more content/weapons etc

If you can deal with the lagginess of it, yes, it's worth it.

I've had the game for quite some time and I love it, but jesus christ, it lags like a bag of ♥♥♥♥. Even on my system, which I consider high end (i5, 16GB ram, GTX680)

I have a i7, 16GB RAM, GTX 560Ti and it doesn't lag.

EDIT:
I think I remember seeing that 600 series cards were having problems. Anyway, not sure if it helps but these are my graphic settings...

My Graphic Settings:
Ambient Occlusion: On
Anti-aliasing: MLAA Ultra
Bloom: On
Character Detail: Medium
Depth of Field: On
Detail Mode: Medium
Foliage Quality: Medium
FX Quality: High
Light Shafts: On
Light Quality: Medium
Qcclusion Quality: Normal
Post-processing Quality: High
Shadow Quality: Medium
Texture Quality: Ultra
Use Hardware Physics: On

NOT EVEN CLOSE! AA:PGrounds is garbage! A cheap ♥♥♥♥♥ version of what used to be an amazing game!

This game is great! Please "Realism" mode, may be painful at first but if you get in a good squad that works together, it's rewarding!

Thanks for the suggestions, but why should you have to turn your settings down with such a high end machine? I mean, every other game I play, I can play on ultra with no lag. I just don't get why we should have to play at sub-par settings.

Anyway, i'll go and give your settings a try. Thanks again man.

It just got a free map today and the campaign mode from RO2 now for Rising Storm.

I hated RO2, Rising storm looks great so far.

Bought it today for $20 and then 4 hours later it went on sale for $10
still happy with my purchase.
