So 5 GB update today?

It just wasted 400 MB downloading a 5 GB update for this game before I managed to pause it. POS game. This game sucks. Constant updates for a terrible game. I only just wasted 14.4 gigs download this and now there is a 5GB update.

Btw you need only the multiplayer install, thats not 14 gig.

Well they could make it that you don't have to download 5 gbs for an update I am not going to use. Not going to use rising storm so why do I have to download many gbs for it? It should a an optional free exspansion not a nessesary update. Every time I try to play this game there is a new update. When I first got it before rising storm there was a 2 GBs update. When I finally got that rising storm came out. Guess what happened? It split single player and mutliplayer so I had to redownload 14 GBs. And now that I can finally play it there is a stupid 5 GB update stopping me again.

Also I have a horrible massive glitch which after many hours I still cannot fix. When I walk the view glitches back and forth for no reason. Like it is bobbing back and forward over and over again. It makes me sick and makes the game hard to play. Also almost no one plays this game so finding servers in AUS and NZ is almost impossible so I have to play on US servers with 200+ ping. And most servers are mainly bots. The single player is completely broken with that bobbing glitch and the ai just sitting around and not following commands.

It isn't the free stuff I hate it is the fact that the updates a massive and you HAVE to download them to play. Why can't I just play the Red Orcherstra maps and game modes? Instead of spending hours and many gbs download something I don't want or need. I might want them when I have actually managed to play this game (which I can't because of constant updates) but until them it doesn't had anything for me. It would be so much better if you actually chose to download it. Say go into the store page and get the rising storm expansion for free instead of forcing people to download it.

Go under properties ---> Updates tab ------> Scroll bar Don't keep this game up to date.

There were a lot of bug fixes and changes to a few features as well.

Guys I like the updates just not that fact that I HAVE to get them. Also if you turn off auto update then when you launch the game it will make you download it before playing.
