Give the Germans greatcoats!
M1940 greatcoats were issued to many in the 6th Army during the battle of stalingrad. Was no use for the Russian winter, being more suited for Central European winters.1 in 3 did wear the greatcoat during the battle of stalingrad.

I'd suggest that in the official TWI forum, the steam hub is basically community only.

Regarding your name, have you seen a certain video? lol.

Character models take the most time to create, as it has the most amount of vectors used. Judging by the recent productivity of TWI that's publically available, I think we would be better off asking them to just create new weapons.

Well in the current RS Beta build there are two new weapons. The PPS-42 smg for the Russians and the Type 97 sniper rifle for the Japanese.

I would like to see more weapons though.

Tell them to fix the Japanese team. I know you have a TWI managers email address Moskeeto.

>+ (n-1) Flamethrower
>+ tear gas grenade for Tl and engineers

I don't actually.

That's better suggested on the Tripwire forums. I agree with no pistols for rifleman and reducing the amount of SMGs. Tear gas would require making a brand new weapon which would take a while and probably affect game balance as well.
that could boost the realism of the game :)
even for simulation games : balance > realism
If you add weapons/devices, you have to think about balance first
If RO2 was 100% realistic, US would win most of the map
but it's a game, so balance > realism
That would be nice if they added it...
But it can affect the smoothness of gameplay (I'm not sure about it though, my female intuition says so X3).
Besides, noobs will have problems telling Germans from Russians on long distances.

Hey guys, i'm a woman. On the internet!
I sense sarcasm.
No, I don't usually run around the net screaming it, if that's what you mean.
I just think that adding those coats may slow down the game. But I'm not a profossional IT, so I may be wrong.

what about the maps where they aren't even on it? ;-)
new maps are a kind of uchrony indeed, but I was talking about weapons and techs
Germans do not look cool in them, thats why probably nobody added them still. Germans must look cool, its a cliche demanded by people. Not by me of course. I'm for historical accuracy.
Heh, we could see those side caps that they wore too, the ones that could be undone so that flaps covered the ears. And the snow shoes and frilly snow covers for helmets, and, and...!
