That would be great, but you know how game deadlines are. I do think they're aiming for spring.

20€? At least this time I will wait and see whether they've learned from the RO2 launch debacle.

They need time to get it right or else all we will see on here is crybabys burning up the forum.

Spoken like someone relatively new to the game who didn't dish out full price at launch and had to wait months upon months for fixes to make the game playable.

How about the idea that they get it right so we don't have to listen to self-righteous n00bs defend the indefensible?

As someone who pre-ordered two copies of RO2 and waited months upon months for fixes, I didn't complain. Why you ask? Because I know TWI releases their content for free, maps/tanks/weapons/etc. when available.

The problem I had with the sluggish release was not the fact that I had to wait for patches, it was because we all knew it was too early, TWI didn't listen to us and now their image is damaged. The RO2 fans will of course still buy Rising Storm (sooner or later), but I think many are now more reluctant concerning their coming titles, which is quite sad and could have been avoided.

You sir, are delusional. Lets look at all the content released so far... Two maps and a game mode that nobody asked for nor cares about. Will Rising Storm be free? Nope. You can continue to be ignorant, I really don't care. But don't make it sound like TWI has released so much free content when in fact they haven't.

20 Euros = about $26 US. I was thinking more around 10-15 US if you have RO2 already.

Rising Storm will be standalone, so most likely owners of RO2 will get a discount when getting it on steam.

Just try it out. If you own RO2 you'll be able to play RS with some limitations (Rrilfe/SMG only etc).

I know why you didn't complain about the terrible release of RO2. Because you're a fanboy who wouldn't complain if TWI took a giant crap on your head(which they basically did to everyone with this turd of a game)

And where's this content?.......18 months after release and only 2 maps and a few bug fixes. A lot remain, which is why there's only a small handful of fanboys playing this broken p.o.s. game.
TWI have no intention of releasing more content for this disaster. They turned it over to the modders to add the vehicles and maps which TWI had promised they would do, until they realized there was no money to be made anymore in RO2 and dumped it for Rising Storm so they could cash in again on people. It's all about the money don't kid yourself. I know i'm gonna get trolled by the fanboys, but I had to just cut all the b.s. and tell it like it is.
