enemy kills
I am new to RO, and when I kill an enemy, it is rare; however I noticed I am not getting credit for Enemy kills, reason?

I'll let someone more in the know correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you don't get credit for bot kills when going for the "Kills" badges--only real players count.

Are you playing on a ranked server?

I am playing as a single player, don't know anything about a ranked server, just simply want to enjoy the game, which by the way, looks like I may have made a mistake buying this game, far too complicated for a novice player.

I think it's universally agreed that the single player is a waste of time. Try multiplayer (especially if you can get in a game not dominated by bots) before giving up, IMHO.

Take the time to experience multiplayer in a full 64 player server, it's incredible. It will take time to learn and become even average at the game, but it is very rewarding. Single player is only good for the tutorial bits.

Single Player does not rank you up in anything, your kills do not count. To upgrade rank and weapons you have to play online and in a ranked server. SP is like training for the multiplayer, it is not an interactive scripted campaign with cool flashy events and dialogue, it's just the multiplayer maps one after another with bots.

If you do go for MP, it's best to kill enemy who are in actually within the range of the objectives being fought over. Those kills score higher.
