For those of you that like to play with a gamepad...
I made a mostly functioning xpadder profile. I set it up to work assuming your key binds are at the defaults. You will need an Xbox 360 controller and Xpadder, of course.

Here's an image of the button layout:

You can download it here:

I tried it out myself, and it seems to work just fine. I didn't get a single kill and I wouldn't recommend playing with a gamepad, but I know some of you greatly prefer to play with a gamepad. You might also want to adjust the camera speed to your liking.

Not a bad profile you made there just missing a second set for the tank , I play on a 50 plasma with a pad for over a year and get plenty kills but yes your correct its far worse than a mouse. You know your self the sway and dead aim and pixel sniping and twitch reactions involved in this game .Finding the sweet spot with the dead aim is very hard. And its even worse when you first start because of the handicaps of realism mode until you rank up

Best way is to get a automatic weapon and get up close to be effective with a pad gab squad leader and push into the he caps . I have a xpadder profile for infantry and tank all in one. Will put a guide up for it when i can . I made one for arma to give you a idea of what you can do.

Gamepads... why would you when you have a mouse... a crappy ball mouse with only 2 buttons kicks a gamepad everytime

Some people don't understand that mice are much more precise and prefer the comfort of a gamepad.

How would you even be able to aim (and hit) at 100m? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm genuinely curious about how this is possible.

HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAAHAH I hope plenty of peasants use the gamepad so I can farm people who are worse than bots

You can't. I've tried. I can't even get anyone at closer ranges because everyone else is using a mouse.

I tired to download the file but moskeeto it will not open and a pop up ad opens a new window in google chrome. REALLY BAD FILE, doesn't work. I do not think there is a way of using an xbox 360 controller with RO2. :<(

You have to put it where the xpadder profiles belong. Don't ask me where they belong though, I haven't used it in a long time. I'm sure you can figure it out.

Here is a link to a copy of xpadder profile i been (trying) to use for RO2. http://pastebin.com/WaaTMGea

It is possible to use the controller support in UE3 engine that RO2 does not implement with some extra bindings for controller. http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=63777&highlight=controller+support but need to find a way to configure deadzone and look speed and configure layout to something a bit more to my liking. It does work though which is a bonus and is encouraging to know this game can and WILL work with a controller. heh heh
