What a anti new player game is that f+++?
Terrible wide open Maps, ppl sitting behind, lying behind walls and try to snipe each other, then tons of smoke grandaes fly around, u get killed all the time, no idea where the shot came from.
My eyes are hurting when i lie in cover on one of the wide open maps and look for some pixel heads, who spot me all the time before i can even aim.

This game is frustrating like hell, around 1300 ppl are online most of the time, this must be the hard core, no chance for new players like me to learn the game and have moments which motivate you to play on.
I tried to play the Action mode to understand the game, but no one plays this mode. great. The bots are no alternative. So i play with the hardcore players (campers), who knows the maps exactly. No fun at all.
I bought RS, so much fun to get forced to play the japanese all the time, whith their single shot rifles vs americans with BAR, Thompson, Semi automatic Gerand and so on..not.
Tx god i paid only 9 € for that game, and now write l2p and all the stuff. HF

funny, because the 'hardcore' players always moan about teams full of lvl 11s ;)

Seen the Japanese side win plenty; in fact a good Japanese team against a good American team is at worst an even match; the game to work requires coordinated teamwork which is generally lacking. Campers are not hardcore players; they are generally a detriment to the game because they so rarely contribute to the team by capturing or holding capzones. The learning curve for this game can be painful, but think through what the game really is, and you might find it both easier and more enjoyable.
in first 10h you will cry only. Then you will say ♥♥♥♥ this, i will not do stupid rush and try shoot somoe whit random shots. And then you will come beter.

Back to call of duty with thee.

hear, hear!

I hate to break it to you OP, but warfare in real life involves a whole lot of "camping"...except there it is called NOT GETTING KILLED.

Practice makes perfect. Every "hardcore" player was a rookie once too. We've all got our heads blown off plenty before we learned to fight efficiently. The faint-hearted resort back to games like CoD, but those who actually try to learn and improve become great. And it is these dedicated "hardcore" players that make the game feel so much like a true war. :Nutcracker:
i prefer to charge, dislike smoke and would prefer some full arcde servers BUT i have come to readly dig this game: once i got some kills and used the bandages and learned (difficult) to differentiate between friend and foe and not rush out blindly, it started becoming really fun. i can see how it got the pcgamer award. there are so many great features, once you get over the learning curve.
Hey one less rank 11 player ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up Sl/TL slots. Good news!

Welcome to war. Get good or get dead.
Give the game time and you will enjoy it. Keep to the edges of the maps and keep your head down and you will pick it up,
did not truly enjoy this until i had joined a server with great team and squad leaders -(with mic) giving orders.

Spawn Points! -a consistent spawn point is key to being a great squad leader.

100% agreed.
Play on servers which are half filled with bots. Sure they can snipe insanely but they're dumb and it should give you some breathing space.
If you play on the Japanese side (plenty of fun, spend my first 25 levels there) go with the Type99 rifle. It's less accurate on 100+ meters but it hits harder. You rarely need two shots unlike the Type38 were I see it quite often that one shot not taking down my enemy. If you find the bolt action hard, go to your pistol on close range, it's pretty great, also learn to Banzai, sprint+holding melee. It reduces damage 75%, stamina usage 50% and boasts your melee attack. It gets multiplied by the more players that join. Great way to enter a bunker or cross open field.
Lastly, I've been there. First time I quite for a year I think then got back with Rising Storm. Took me a few hours but now I love the game.
