hear, hear!
I hate to break it to you OP, but warfare in real life involves a whole lot of "camping"...except there it is called NOT GETTING KILLED.
Spawn Points! -a consistent spawn point is key to being a great squad leader.
If you play on the Japanese side (plenty of fun, spend my first 25 levels there) go with the Type99 rifle. It's less accurate on 100+ meters but it hits harder. You rarely need two shots unlike the Type38 were I see it quite often that one shot not taking down my enemy. If you find the bolt action hard, go to your pistol on close range, it's pretty great, also learn to Banzai, sprint+holding melee. It reduces damage 75%, stamina usage 50% and boasts your melee attack. It gets multiplied by the more players that join. Great way to enter a bunker or cross open field.
Lastly, I've been there. First time I quite for a year I think then got back with Rising Storm. Took me a few hours but now I love the game.
