RO2 is crap

RO1 and DH is a lot better.

I think most VETS say the same thing. RO2 have streamlined ''modern shooter'' maps with dumb zone restrictions, the tiresome recon plane, the unlocks, perks, fast-paced gameplay, a screen litered with HUD details, and the pathetic ''Tactical View'' which gives away important positions, spawn on squadleader, can't exit tanks, no halftracks, no bikes, small maps, no command system only a command radial like console games have, a bland mix of different half-♥♥♥♥♥ ''modes'', bad sound (sometimes you can barely hear grenades go of behind corners) feels like firecrackers, no rallypoints for commanders, you can't even put your bayonette on and off, or give ammo toyour friends, or pick up and drop ammo, MkB in Stalingrad despite no proper evidence that it was present there at that period in time. It's one of the worst ''sequels'' I have played. It's like a bad a joke!

I installed RO2 yesterday to see if anything was changed. Not much. its the same crap in a different custume. I have now uninstalled it again. its waste of space basically. RO1 and DH deliver the ROgameplay, and BF delivers the casusal gameplay, and arma has the focus on realism. no need for ♥♥♥♥ty ro2.

Then you have Classic Mode... a horrible mode, but at lest the best alternative. but no one plays it anyway but who cares. its not good.

I hope Festung Europa (spiritual sequel to DH) put an end to Tripwire and their abomination of my RO. Festung Europa must compete against RO and TWI, and I really hope, that they win. its at least possible for FE to draw away players from RO2 and make the final blow and kill it. With the proper marketing its possible to ''steal'' TWI's loyal fanbase (those who create mods and support the game) like when Codemasters released their abomination of ''Operation Flashpoint'' and then when people realized that it wasn't the real Flashpoint they migrated to the real one - today called ARMA.

I want to see Tripwire's Red Orchestra franchise CANNED. TWI took my money, they took my freedom, they took my RO! Now take my word! A dead RO is BETTER than having this abomination of it ALIVE. The game gotta die with dignity. RO2 is dirty. It's diluted. It's not pure in any sense. The attempt to invite CoD kiddies naturally brought screaming kids, cheaters, hackers, and people who act like morons. That's another reason to why I still play RO1 and DH because its a lot more VETS there and players who have knowledge about RO. I'll never forget the glorious lightbeams of RO1. I will never pay for ANY GAME that Tripwire have created or published. NEVER.

RO2 ts better than RO1 in some ways and the same thing applies to RO1, theyre both great games.
RO2 lacks some stuff maybe vehicles the important thing is (wider maps), on the latest patches devs added more maps and the Bridge of Druzhina is what RO2 should have had at the first place.

I prefer RO2 over RO1/DH which I liked more than the mod. I think a lot of people look on the old games with a touch of the rose tinted glasses.

RO2 and RS are, for me more polished, enjoyable and fun to play than those that came before them and at the end of the day that's all that matters to me.

Interestingly, here's another OP who has his profile hidden. There's only two reasons to hide your profile from everyone.
