How would the Manchuria Campaign sound? (The Soviet Union vs Japan 1945)
I have been wondering for a while since Tripwire Interactive has already developed the Japanese and Soviet Union programming and all, why not recreate the Manchuria Campaign of 1945? I'm curious if other players feel the same way also. The only thing I guess would need to be done is to have Japanese tanks programmed, since the Soviet Union already has them.

It was a very brief, but important last campaign of World War 2 and I think it deserves to be brought to peoples' attention. Feel free to share your opinions or ideas about it. : )

I would love anything that hasn't been done to death. Unfortunately, the money is on remakes of D-Day.

I rather they expand on the Ostfront outside Stalingrad instead, add new units and uniforms, and new weapons and maps, maybe even increase the help of the Vehicle modding team to get us some transports and halftracks in game too(and maybe even AT guns and tanks).

TWI should focus on the Ostfront instead, since its definetly more well-known and popular than a Manchurian campaing.

I'd like to see some more of Stalingrad, the Pavlov's House map is the most authentic representation of that building and its surroundings in a video game that I've seen. I'd love to see some maps of a similar quality showing maybe the areas around the Central Landing Stage as the 13th Guards Rifles actually entered the city - disembarking from the boats and them immediately assaulting up the hill and into the city, in the direction of Station No.1, or the fighting around the G or L shaped houses.. Or more made of the sewers, or map focussing on fighitng almost entirely in a large housing block. There's a lot more even concentrating on Stalingrad could give, although otherwise I agree - I'd happily see more Ostfront.

Yes, definitely more maps. I'd like to see a more coherent grand strategy element with linking battlefields like "Generals and Heroes." I know there are servers that link battles, but it doesn't feel very strategic, just zones to occupy in a game.

I'm also less fond of some to the choices of maps in certain zones in the campaigns that I've played recently -- why would you place a map like Winterwald or Bridges of Druzhina in an area that is supposed to represent the central part of the City of Stalingrad? Or the Mamayev area not having Mamayev Kurgan as an available map...

I would love Soviets vs Japanese. Ura vs Banzai Charge is a very good concept.

hell id like to see all the fronts and campaigns brought to life, though thats wishful thinking, it would be cool to have the chinese vs the japanese as well, id like to see d day as well as even though its been done so much a game like this i think would still make it feel fresh at least to me (especially a territory game mode with the beach landings and all would be awesome). Id also like to see the african campaign and the italian campaign if possible. LOL just put all of them on here and ud have the greatest ww2 fps to ever be done

Its a bombed out city with no economic value. There's literally no reason for there to be campaign power points anyways.
