Let's form a Squad!
Hi all. I am looking for a group of people that would be interested in playing together as a squad.
This is because the platton/squad features of the game are unexploited and it could be fun to play like a real team. Let me know if you want to join!
Cheers!

lvl 50 MG34/Mortar seeking serious Axis team/squad

I bought this game a bit over a week ago. I am best at support roles based on how I play. I prefer support weapons though I am a fine rifle/elite rifleman. I can assualt when needed. I prefer big flanking moves. I'm still noob but not horrible. I routinely get MG kills at 100-150 meters, up to 200 meters, including snipers that are looking for me. It's nice now that my MG is belt fed so I basically rarely have to reload! I can follow orders. I spot enemies. If armor is an issue I instanly switch to anti-tank rifle or engineer role. I don't run out into artillary, I take cover. Also, AMMO in appreciated. I had a couple games recently where rifleman within 10 meters wouldn't give me ammo (I requested it like 10 times). I had a great position, had like 50 (human) kills and could have kept going. Instead I lobbed my grenades and ran out with my pistol, dying soon after. Needless to say we got over ran within a minute of no MG support.

I am also a very cautious tank commander and am solid at the role since it is basically a support role also! But tanks are easy prey and people need to realize infantry and tanks work together...just because you are in a Panzer doesn't mean you're John Rambo...

I have figured out (roughly) the max range of the Knee Mortar is 150 meters. I can blind fire at the objective area (hold t, see range, line up, vary each shot slightly ect) and get kills almost every time. Though most of the time I prefer to spot my targets with the mortar. When I'm in the zone every mortar shell gets kills. I constanly check my map to not fire or blind fire on my comrades. Soon I will get the m1 carbine :) - though I gotta say the recoil is WAY too much in this game for the carbine. I have one in real life :p Again, I prefer long flanking SNEAKY moves/ambushes on the enemy. Mortar fire from the side or rear.

I am a horrible sniper.

I am also a WWII reenacter and portray a SS grenadier. I am obsessed with WWII. I want to work together as an effective team member supporting my comrades assualt and hoping they support their MGs flanks on defensive rolls. IE: GIVE ME AMMO!!!!!!! lol --- as a support role I do try and utilize the resupply points on the maps - this is especially effective with the mortar to get 6 more rounds! I don't see many people doing it.

I don't have a mic. I know I should get one. I am playing at a lower resolution until I get a new graphics card, SOON - which I know will increase my MG accuracy. On that note I set it to 200 meters and never change it. The only range I adjust is the Tanks main gun.

Also I live in the PST zone but usually have a random sleep schedual so...

If you need a serious MG or Mortar let me know!

See you in combat.
