Tanks and their vulnerable parts
Hey everyone,

I've been trying to look for a tutorial on actually destroying a tank most effectively, however, couldn't find one.

So, where are the spots you should always try to hit the tank first? Is it always necessary to get around/to the side of the tank or are there also vulnerable parts at the front of a tank?

Thanks, cheers,

So where do we aim when trying to kill T70 and Panzer III? Easy when shooting at the side, but dunno where to aim when they're approaching frontally.

Tracks to immobilize them, turret ring to immobilize turret, front never a good option

yeah i know but i can't always sneak around them. i aim at the turret ring and even the barrel but the rounds just seem to disintegrate when using either the p3 or t70

From the front aim at the turret ring or vision slits.

Front turret ring on a t-34 can easily kill the player if he is in the gunners seat. Bridges, they never got past D and E and I just got the gunner/commander via the turret ring from the front. (god was he ever MAD at me by the end.)

If you are lucky you can hit the ammunition storage from the front firing at the drivers vision slit on both tanks. But that's the only you can destroy one from the front with an AT rifle. And you have to be medium range. Within 100 metres.

Can't pierce a Panzer 4s frontal armour at all regardless of range with an AT rifle unless you have at the vision slits. And on the T-34 you have to be at a right angle to the armour and within 20 metres to get through the front and side armour. Not the tracks but the side armour above the tracks.

The centre of the side of both tanks where the tracks are are good places to shoot at. You can damage the fuel tanks, transmission and tracks. Works better on a panzer 4 than a T-34. Armour isn't sloped on the panzer 4 and both tanks side armour is essentially the same thickness. You can completely disable an enemy tank very fast with one clip within 50 metres. Or it blows up.

Yeah just don't get it. Some dudes one-hit me frontally from range. No idea how they do it. I aim at vision slits with T70 and it takes a few shells at least. Aim at turret ring gap and the shells just bounce off.
