Forgive or learn to play?
Recently i was thinking about the option to type NP and forgive teamkill.
Seem that the community think that's better forgitve all kill just to have more points but i think that this would bring ppl not thinking to much about what they're doing. Have some penalty for your stupid action is a good point to try to don't do stupid things.

So i wonder if it's better don't ask and don't give any forgive and let ppl understand that throw granade and shot random ppl is not a good idea or just be kind and clear everyone's mistake and abandon the hope that ppl will learn from their error.

What do you think?

P.s.: Sorry for bad spelling. ;D

The unspoken rule is that you forgive teamkills are accidently. If you ask me, those are the majority of teamkills that happen. So If I feel that somebody accidently teamkilled me I always forgive it. If I however think it was not a accident I usually do not forgive the teamkill.

Also forgiving a teamkill doesnt mean you can not tell people what they did wrong.

Good point, what i want to say is that also accidentally kill are sometime avoidable being more cautious. Try to launch a granade while you're in the middle of a squad and you're prone to being killed... will bring you're total squad to dead if you're granade drop there.

What i'm try to say is that in the end there's no unavoidable teamkill... so probably have some penalty also for unintentional kill could help to think twice on what you're doing.

I forgive most of the time [except if i get a bajonet in the back after a banzai charge, because the person behind me doesn't know how to cancel it without stabbing].Saw a lot of people that don't even bother to forgive when it was clearly their fault [running infront of me while i prone & shoot the mg,it's not like crossing the LoF is a good idea]

accident - forgive.
Not forever though, ~2 np for the same person in a match.

This. Forgive the majority, don't forgive Tk's where the shooter aims at you for more than three seconds and then shoots.

I only forgive if they apologize for the TK.
Simple as that.

If the guy apologizes it's hard for me to not forgive, even if I really don't want to. Apologizing helps keeps the peace on your team. It's better to just have that good will going around. And it could be you apologizing to them next time around. Also I often insta-forgive people I know and played enough times to know they are not doing it intentionally.

Now them saying nothing makes it easier for me not to forgive.

T/5 Flesch [29th ID] said. "Also forgiving a teamkill doesn’t mean you can not tell people what they did wrong". I totally agree. Sometimes I forgive but tell them what they did wrong. I try and do it nicely but you never know how it comes out.

I so hate they noobs that stare for a while then decide to shoot you. There has been a couple of times I have seen them stare at me. And thought to myself they are going to shoot you, prepare yourself. And they shoot first and I put a bullet in their head and I don't say sorry.

take it on the chin for your team.
Flesch's advice just because you forgive doesn't stop you telling the guy what he did wrong is sound, as teamkills are rarely intentional in this game. Apology is good manners.

I reckon whenever I have been TK'd its almost always because ive moved in front of someone while they were firing and I never knew they were there. My bad. So forgive and aplogise as well does no harm ;) When I've teamkilkled it is almost always someone running in fgront or popping their head up at the wrong moment.

Its not always the killers who were in the wrong, its just as likely to be the victim who was the author of his own misfortune.

I give a NP only if they say sorry, that may sound petty, but "No sorry. No NP"

When I throw a nade into a room full of enemies I'm going to assume there isn't some stupid noob that runs in there at the same time. Sadly that isn't always the case >_>

I always forgive tks unless one of the following is true.

1. They don't apologize.
2. I was in a REALLY good spot.
3. They killed me on purpose (obviously).
4. They threw a grenade CoD-style as everyone was advancing.
Malus131 1月13日下午1:23
I'm British, so i usually apologise for killing the enemy, let alone tk'ing :) But, what really bloody annoys me is when, as mentioned above they don't apologize. The worst example of this that happened to me was when me and about 5 other people were sneaking forward, and some dumb ♥♥♥♥ blows up all six of us with a frag grenade- and he was about 10 feet behind us, hiding behind a rock... -_-
