Not Gaining Honor?

Ok, so I'm having a problem with RO2/RS. I've been playing the game(s) at Honor Level 58/47 for about a year now. Both of my profiles don't seem to level up any more.

I don't know how to gain honor, apparently? I play the same 3-4 classes, but oocasionaly branch out. I do very well. I play a lot. But, while I gain honor, it seems to revert back to 47 after every single game.

Yes, I protect my TL/SL. Yes, I take objectives. Yes, I play my role. Yes, I have a lot of hours into the game. But no, it will not let me level up in Honor. It's really frustrating, in fact it got so frustrating that I stopped playing the game for a couple months. I used to be really hardcore into it but the lack of my honor leveling up has killed it for me. I just wanna get that extra smoke grenade as a SL, have more stamina as a Rifleman, etc.

Anyone know of a way to fix this? Should I contact Tripwire Support? If so, what's the best avenue to take in contacting them about this particular situation?

I appreciate any helpful replies on the problem I'm having, so thanks in advance!

First I would make sure that you are not accidently playing on non ranked servers. If you are playing on ranked and still not getting any experience, then you should definitely contact Tripwire support.

Thats really cruddy though, as much as I love this game the honor system is probably what has kept me playing.

Also I have noticed if you play and make no significant changes (such as leveling a weapon, ranking up a class or honor) and do not finish the map, it will toss out your unsaved work.

All of the servers that I play on ARE ranked. As for losing progress due to leaving early, I am conscious of that. What I'm discussing here is when the After-Action Report shows me leveling my Honor up a couple notches, then reverting next match, and next match, and next match. It will even show me leveling up to the next Honor rank, but somehow next Report I get it's completely reverted.

I'll go ahead and contact Tripwire about this, maybe they will see that my account's been bugged and let me know that I've lost all of that progress but will be able to level up in Honor now. That's my worst-case scenario, hopefully they can help me out a little better than that though. We'll see.

Yeah I have never had any issue similar to yours except in the beta. I hope Tripwire fixes your problem and possibly refunds you some ranks.

I sent Tripwire an email about this, and the update that occured the day after I emailed them fixed my problem. I would suggest keeping a closer eye on the Honor meter, as it takes FOREVER to level up, so the problem may not exist. You may just be at a high level and having problems leveling because of the points that it takes to do so are very high.

This was fixed in Jan-Feb 2014 for me btw.

Anyway he got banned for life here for some rather dumb political ideas...

well.. sorry for bringing back old post but i didnt want open another topic which is already there.. anyway.. its been pretty long time for me when it stopped but i never paid attention to that much just now its kinda weird having like 15k exp for each class but honor 73/80 so im stuck at lvl 4 everywhere
