Connection lost issue.
The problem started after I bought a more powerful video card. The game starts just fine I manage to play for about 5 minutes or so and then people start running into walls and I get this "connection to the host timed out".
First I thought this to be related with hacker attacks that took place not long time ago. And after the patch on one server I played for a whole hour without any issues... but then the issue returned.
I know this problem was discussed already and many times but maybe someone had the same thing and can give a handy piece of advice to me.

it's your internet connection that's bugging. you're losing connection. call your ISP provider and have them check the line if it keeps happening. what kind of ISP have you got? and are you wireless?

Wireless D-link modem.

that's probably half the problem. (or more) how stong is the signal? you might want to try an amplifier.

Though sometimes it does behave weird... like the packages are sent to nowhere - sometimes there is a need to hit a link/refresh a page a couple of times to makethe page actually download in the browser. Sometimes that happens.

Wireless routers are notorious for this BS. Run a wire and see if it happens. To avoid this issue, I for instance got a 65ft Cat6 wire and strung it into a wall outlet, up into my attic, and down into the room where my PC is. Wired link is crucial for an FPS.

that cannot happen while playing RO2. it's an instant drop from a server. like Jank said, run a wire and test it.
