is it just me, or this game crashes awfully often?

i dont get any error message, the game simply freezes and i have to kill the process

4 GB of RAM
my graphics hard is an AT Radeon HD 5570

and unfortunately im using the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ windows 8, long story


im just saying because the game crashes somewhat often for me and the game is already pretty glitchy so i dont know if it has some stability issues as well

mine just locked up back to back games, on different servers. and i quit playing the other day because it locked up multiple times. i bought 5 copies of this game and gave them to friends, also have multiple copies of killing floor. pretty fun game when it works, but the glitches and crashes really make me not want to buy any more products from tripwire.

No big problems on my end ...
aside from one battle on the Bridges map,
where suddenly the connection to the server has been lost
(meaning that people just continued their movement even if it took them to the skies and so on)

But that happened only once and is nothing that hasn´t occasionally happened as well many versions ago

Up until recently I have never had any problem with this game. Now im crashing everytime there is a map change. I have tried ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of different solution but nothing works. Im currently downloading the game for the 3rd time after have done some stupid things resulted in the game not even starting. It sucks! I really love this game but it is so annyoing to crash 10000 times a day.

Since i upgraded to rising storm - i get ROGAME.EXE has stopped responding atleast once every ten matches...Before that RO2 never crashed...

ok the game just crashed with no error message and it took steam down with it, this is the second time it happens

i really like the game, but the glitches, crashes, bad maps and somewhat subpar selection of weapons really affect my enjoyment big way

Same here. I thought it might be my rig, too. One time the game crashed Steam as well

and just in time, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was starting to affect TF2 as well, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ windows 8, i hate this garbage so much

sweet thanks for the tip . i just got the rogame.exe error when loading into game. was frustrating cause i already just restarted game since i forgot to start the punkbuster service before starting up

Window 8 is good OS once run on most recent hardware, which one support UEFI with SSD.
8~12s to turn on your PC also run smooth.

i like OS that make reasonable assumptions about their users, why would i want not to prioritize the task manager window? why would i want a godawful touch interface when most monitors dont have touch technology and this thing called a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse exists? why would i want my PC to restart itself without my consent after installing certain updates?

i hate this OS, and i hate the fact those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the tech shop installed this garbage on my PC after they repaired it
