How to bind 2 commands to 1 key?
Hey come on can any of you smarty pants tell me how to bind 2 commands to 1 key? I'm messing around with the showhud command trying to make it so I can still use tactical view and overhead map so I wanna try binding showhud along with the map and tac keys hoping it might work. So how do I do it?

Pretty sure you cant, unless you mess with some of the game's files, which porbably isnt the smartest idea.

You can, I just forget the syntax.

Go to Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config and open ROInput.ini. Search for "[ROGame.ROPlayerInput]". There are all your keybinds. There're also keybinds under [Engine.PlayerInput]. I don't know what the difference is so just change the ones under ROPlayerInput, they definitely work.
Say you want to have tactical view on T then search for "Name="T"". You'll find a line like
Bindings=(Name="T",Command="Tactical_Display",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgnoreShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
You want to change the Command part. So change
Command="Tactical_Display"
to
Command="ShowHUD | Tactical_Display | OnRelease ShowHUD"
This enables the HUD and shows the tactical view as long as the key is pressed.
Now for the map. Search for "Name="M"" or whatever key your map is on. Then change
Command="Toggl_Map"
to
Command="showHUD | Toggl_Map"

These only work if your HUD is already disabled. I don't know if there's a way to deactivate the HUD by default but a temporary solution is to bind ShowHUD to a key (e.g. F6) and press it once everytime you enter a game.

Optional:
If you use the map very often I recommend putting the map on a key which is somewhere around WASD (like LeftAlt or Z) and make it so that you have to hold the key instead of pressing it to toggle the map. If you just want to take a brief look at the map in a dangerous situation this way is more effective and faster than having to press the same button twice. Just change
Command="Toggl_Map"
to
Command="ShowOverheadMap | OnRelease ShowOverheadMap"
or in your case to
Command="ShowHUD | ShowOverheadMap | OnRelease ShowOverheadMap | OnRelease ShowHUD"

THANKS H9000 that did the trick. I decided to keep the map toggle which I have on my C key, also changed the scoreboard bind to get it to show. I think it makes the game look better and makes focusing on targets a little easier. Of course the text chat is missing but usually nothing important gets said there. Surely there must be a way to activate showhud when the game starts up like a autoexec line or something.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, THANK YOU H9000! :)

Ah yea I remember this was pretty cool to play without the hud but ran into issus with certain key combinations.
