Dear Tripwire, thanks for ruining your game
Servers flooded with inexperienced, casual players who just want to run and gun like every other generic FPS out there. Thanks Tripwire. Rising Storm / RO 2 was a safe haven for tactical players who enjoy playing as a team and objectives based gaming. Your free weekend may have surged numbers of game owners but you have destroyed the actual community.

I don't dislike new people. I don't even dislike people who have no clue how to play. I DO dislike people who have no clue how to play AND no desire whatsoever to learn.

Servers full of Squad leaders who camp the flanks all by themselves, no where near capture points and Team leaders who don't even call in recon, let alone artillery.

Thanks Tripwire, you destroyed my favorite game.

Don't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Feeling a bit entitled aren't we, well don't worry they'll eventually go away, but some like me will stay and learn the ropes and try become a good teamplayer. You don't get to tell the company what to do, and this happens in every game once it has a free weekend or a sale like this, eventually those who don't play proper get owned and go away.

No need to throw a tantrum over your little spilled milk, makes you sound like a whiner.I am not saying your complaint's aren't legit. May be try to teach these new guys on how the games is meant to be played...
this isn't Tripwire, it's Steam. and if it's your favorite game, why don't you play it more? you like barely got any time in it at all.

I blame everything wrong with the world on Tripwire......
you remember what they did to the jews in WW2? and the spanish inquisition? yep. that was them too.
i even heard they were the ones that took a bite of the apple back in that garden!
Sorry that not everyone can be as super tacticool as you. Some people honestly don't understand these things. Honestly these are also usually the people who do poorly. If you have a TL who won't lead you can always start a votekick as well. The scrubs will get fed up and leave before too long. Until then just stick to servers that the more veteraned players frequent.

you call 276 hours "barely any time at all?"

Op go for a walk.
Inexperienced players might learn by practice.

I doubt you follow the history of each of the new players closely, to say theat s/he is unwilling to learn/doesn´t learn anything during playing

Yes, Actually.

At least barely any time at all for you to have any right to claiming this game as your play-style's safe haven.

I'd prefer more inexperienced new players who help keep the game alive over a group of Veteran players who try and force the new guys out.

I've been playing since alpha and gaming since the 80's and I'll say, all new players are always welcome. Everyone has to learn somehow, more the better.. Easy frags can be fun. : P And sure beats AI still!
I really dont know what all this crying of self-proclaimed veterans about new players is all about.
While having a small community was nice and created close bonds from time to time, you were bound to know how the enemy team will act after 2 months on the same server.^^
I have to agree that at least at the moment the derp rate is rather high. But this won't last!
Most of the new players already left and in 2 to 3 weeks all thats left will be people who learned something and are enjoying the game just as you are.
In my humble opinion it is much more satisfying taking the nooblets by their hands, guiding them threw their first matches instead of behaving like an elitarist prick.
But that's just me.

It's not just you.
Honestly how in a game like RO2 or Rising Storm can you not love new players. It gives so much atmosphere and immersion to look around and see the experienced vets, leaning and taking pop shots and using tactics and communicaton. And then you see the new players, or fresh meat, standing around catching mortar shrapnel with their bodies and sniper fire with their skulls.

These conflicts depicted in RO2 and RS provided combat similar to this experience. In the Eastern Front the Russians would send in untrained conscripts against battle hardened Germans all the time. While the Germans would send in Romanian or Czech troops with little combat experience vs elite Russian rifle brigades.

The Pacific theatre sees a similar conflict with hastially trained but better equipt drafted Marine force are pitted against an experienced Japanese war machine. On the flipside the Japanese towards the end of the war began drafting mass amounts of untrained conscripts vs the now battle hardened US army and marines.

Also, how can you dislike an influx of activity to a game that is becoming dated? If you are a fan of this game than you should welcome these noobs with some well placed 7.62 to the groin region, so that you can explain what an acorn symbol represents.
this is the least of our problems, the game crahses now when i look for a sever due to the update
