Delay in confirming kill...
...is this in the game on purpose?

I'm a new player.

When I kill someone it takes maybe 5-10 seconds for the kill to appear in the top right corner. I'm never sure if i've actually killed my enemy or not.

Maybe it's in the game on purpose to make it more realistic, which I don't mind.

But i'd like confirmation if possible?

Yes, it's a feature that is server configurable. Some servers have instant kill feeds, others have them delayed, and others only show kills involving you.

And some dont show your kills but shows everyone else -_-

Also bear in mind that kills are not always immediate, your target could well be on the ground bleeding out, and the kill won't display until that occurs.

Headshots may also confuse your, you pretty much to a kill but you actually die very slowly so it takes some time. If you shoot a German and you hear a metal sound when you try a headshot know that you have your kill confired.
